Safety & Crisis Support

Your safety comes first.

Jashvee is here to make it easier to talk, understand what you are going through and connect with appropriate support. But Jashvee is not an emergency service.

Last updated: 10 October 2026
🚨 If you are in immediate danger If you think you may hurt yourself or someone else, have already seriously harmed yourself, are experiencing a medical emergency, or cannot keep yourself safe, do not wait for a Jashvee response. Contact your local emergency service, go to the nearest emergency department/hospital, or ask a trusted person to stay with you.

1. Emergency support

Jashvee provides mental-health support and access to professionals, but it is not designed to replace emergency medical, psychiatric or crisis services.

In an emergency, the safest option is immediate, in-person help from an appropriate emergency service or healthcare facility.

Helpline directory note: No helpline number is listed on this page because current official contact details have not been verified for this release. Do not wait for an email or Jashvee response during an emergency.
Immediate medical danger

Call the appropriate local emergency service or go to the nearest hospital/emergency department.

Feeling unsafe alone

Move toward a safe place and ask a trusted person to stay with you.

Thoughts of self-harm

Seek immediate professional or emergency support rather than waiting for an online response.

Someone else is at risk

If there is immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services and prioritize physical safety.

2. What Jashvee can help with

Depending on the service and professional available, Jashvee may help you connect with support for concerns such as:

  • Stress, anxiety and emotional overwhelm
  • Relationships and family concerns
  • Academic and career pressure
  • Loneliness and social difficulties
  • Grief and loss
  • Self-confidence, body image and personal concerns
  • Addiction-related concerns
  • Bullying, harassment and other difficult experiences
  • General emotional wellbeing and the need to talk to someone
Jashvee's role: Listen, support, help you understand your situation and connect you with an appropriate professional or support option where available.

3. What Jashvee cannot do

Jashvee should not be used as a substitute for emergency care, hospitalization or urgent medical treatment.

  • Jashvee cannot guarantee immediate emergency intervention.
  • Online chat or appointment availability should not be relied upon when someone is in immediate danger.
  • An AI-assisted feature is not an emergency responder and is not a replacement for a qualified professional.
  • Information on the platform should not be treated as a diagnosis or a guaranteed medical outcome.

4. If you are thinking about self-harm or suicide

If you are having thoughts of suicide, self-harm or seriously hurting yourself, please treat the situation as important and seek immediate human support.

01 · MOVEMove away from anything you could use to hurt yourself.
02 · CONNECTTell a trusted person clearly that you are not feeling safe.
03 · GET HELPContact emergency or crisis support available in your area.
04 · STAYDo not remain alone if you feel you may act on the thoughts.

If you are already connected with a mental-health professional, you can also follow the crisis plan they have provided to you.

5. If you are in immediate physical danger

If another person is threatening, attacking, stalking or otherwise placing you in immediate danger, prioritize your physical safety.

  • Move to a safer location if you can do so safely.
  • Contact appropriate emergency services or local authorities where necessary.
  • Contact a trusted person who can support you.
  • Do not rely on a Jashvee chat, email or appointment as an emergency response.

6. Abuse, violence and exploitation

Jashvee may provide a supportive space to talk about abuse, harassment or violence and may help connect users with appropriate professional support.

However, if abuse is currently happening or there is an immediate threat to your safety, emergency or local protection services should be contacted first.

Safety planning: Avoid taking actions that could increase danger. Where appropriate, consider speaking privately with a trusted person or qualified professional about a safe next step.

7. Students, young users and minors

Jashvee may offer dedicated student support and verification processes. Student eligibility and access rules depend on the applicable Jashvee programme.

Where a user is a minor, Jashvee should follow its applicable consent, safeguarding, privacy and professional requirements.

Where there is a serious and immediate safety concern, confidentiality may have limitations to the extent permitted or required by applicable law and safeguarding obligations.

For parents/guardians: If you believe a child or young person is in immediate danger, seek urgent in-person professional or emergency assistance rather than waiting for an online appointment.

8. Safety during a Jashvee session

A professional may ask safety-related questions when they believe a user may be at risk. The purpose is to understand the level of risk and identify an appropriate next step.

Depending on the circumstances, a professional may recommend immediate in-person care, emergency support, involvement of a trusted person, or another appropriate safety measure.

Jashvee may maintain operational safety procedures for handling serious risk concerns. These procedures should be implemented in the backend and professional guidelines rather than relying only on website messaging.

9. Privacy and safety

Jashvee aims to provide a privacy-conscious environment. However, privacy and confidentiality are not absolute in every situation.

Information may need to be handled or disclosed where required by applicable law, court order, safeguarding obligations, serious safety concerns or other legally permitted circumstances.

For more information, read the Privacy Policy.

10. Professional support and AI

Jashvee may use technology to support intake, matching, booking and user experience. AI-assisted features are intended to support the platform experience and should not be represented as a replacement for qualified mental-health professionals.

Professional services should be delivered according to the professional's qualifications, scope of practice and applicable requirements.

If a concern requires a level of medical or psychiatric care that cannot appropriately be provided through the available Jashvee service, the user should be directed toward a suitable healthcare or emergency service.

11. What to do if you simply need someone to talk to
